Based in Los Angeles-by-way-of-Portland, Oregon- This indie-folk/bluegrass revivalist band goes by the name of Water Tower. They are proud to announce the release of their debut album, Fly Around on March 27, 2020.
This is the sixth album for founder Kenny Feinstein, but the first of a two album record deal with Portland’s own Dutch Records. The new album is a ten-track collection of songs rooted in bluegrass and folk, indie rock and dash of electronic landscaping. This album represents a transition for Feinstien and the re-birth of the band in its new neighborhood of Echo Park in Los Angeles. The new album manages to blend psychedelic and punk influences weaved into their traditional love of Bluegrass and Americana instruments, creating their mixed bag of branded music.
Feinstein has teamed up with Joe “Juice” Berglund and Tommy Drinkard as the formal tour line-up, for three great reasons. They each play multiple instruments (fiddle, banjo, guitar, lap steel). They each have solid vocals for leads and harmonies. They all share the same amount of passion for traditional bluegrass as well as punk and indie music.
